During this year, we invite the congregation to read and meditate on scripture and to “Build” on the teachings of our Lord.
 
4. Go for His Glory – Join together and celebrate His Glory being spread throughout the world by remembering our Missions Family this Fall. This Sunday, we welcome our mission guests from a great distance–literally!  Via the magic of Skype we will share a Conversation in Mission with Wanda and Guillermo Mejia from Medellin, Colombia, where we partner with them in a teaching ministry at the Biblical Seminary.  We are honoured and blessed to support this couple in their strategic work

6. Dessert, Refreshments and an inspiring Lesson on Cutting Edge Mission!
You are invited to join us at an afternoon Mission Focus event on Wednesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. as we hear from Allan McGuirl of Galcom International and their pioneering work with solar powered radios.  Learn how GI is distributing the Bible translation completed by Ann Burgess among the Mien people in Thailand!
 
7. Join us at the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast – Paul McKechnie will be the keynote speaker at the Ottawa Civic Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, November 8.  The Thursday Morning Men’s Small Group is planning to attend, and we invite others to join us for this annual community event.  Please  contact Jack for details at pastor@stpaulspcottawa.com or 613-729-3384.

 
8. Attention Pioneer Prayer Pals – Thursday, November 15 is “Pal night” at St. Paul's! If you have signed up to pray for one of our "Pioneers", this is the night when you can finally meet your Pal face to face. Please join us in Campbell Hall from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. for some singing, getting acquainted and great snacks. Please mark this special date on your calendar. 9. You CAN Make a Difference – Please join us for coffee, tea, muffins and fellowship on Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jubilee Room.  The Mission Crafts Group will demonstrate how to prepare and make milk bag mats for the "Mats for Haiti Project". The mats are used in homes and hospitals.  Try your hand at cutting milk bags and/or learning how to crochet. No experience needed.  Volunteers currently involved are invited to attend, as well as newcomers.  If you'd like more information, please contact Frances at the church office 613-729-3384. A special thank you to everyone who is donating their clean, folded-once outer milk bags!
 
10. Christmas for Women – On Saturday, November 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. all women are invited to a Christmas event entitled “Merry Christmas from Our House to Your House”.  As you mark the date on your calendar pray about women you may wish to invite as your guests, and sign up on the list in the narthex.
