Serve

Serving is an expression of love for God and love for people.

Whether you serve in a ministry at St. Paul’s, in Ottawa, or in the world, God calls us to serve one another.

Serve St. Pauls

Serving at St. Paul’s Church makes a difference in people’s lives and in the life and ministry of the church. The opportunities listed below describe some of the service opportunities available. Please look around and then contact the leader for the ministry in which you are interested.

Musical Worship Team

Leader: Pastor Jeff

If you are a part of St. Paul’s, gifted musically, and more importantly, if you have a desire to use your gifts for God’s glory, then we would love to have you join our contemporary worship band or traditional choir.

Welcome Team

Leader: Monica McLean

Almost every Sunday is someone’s first Sunday at St. Paul’s. Imagine joining a team that has fun creating a welcoming environment for our visitors. The Welcome Team works hard to create an environment where each person feels welcome and comfortable. You can expect to have fun, care for new people, share community with your team, and play a significant role in helping someone have a wonderful experience.

St. Paul’s Children’s Ministry

Leader: Rev. Shahrzad Kandalaft

Our goal is to introduce children to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them to live their whole lives in response. We do so by walking with them through their spiritual development–building Christ-centered relationships, teaching a Bible-centered curriculum, and participating in missional activities.

Serve Ottawa

We are called to love each other in the church but we are also called to love our neighbours. We express our love by serving Ottawa. We encourage the people of St. Paul’s to be involved in the neighbourhoods in which they live and work. You can also serve Ottawa through St. Paul’s.

Pinecrest Terrace Food Bank

St. Paul’s is one of several churches that support Pinecrest Terrace Food Bank.

Everyday we see how hunger affects men, women and children and how it can become a barrier to success. People who come to us have families and jobs to keep with bills to pay. Life is challenging enough. Imagine facing it on an empty stomach.

Our mission is simple: Help people get beyond hunger. Pincrest Terrace is open Monday 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Wednesday 1:00p.m., to 3:00p.m., and Friday 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m.

You can help by making food or monetary donations to the Food Bank.

Serve the World

St. Paul’s cares about the needs of people all over the world. We partner with a number of mission organizations and individuals called to work to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in various places in the world. We invite you to join us in supporting them in the work they are doing around the world. We are a church that supports people from our community, to serve around the world. If this interests you please contact us.
