1. You CAN Make a Difference – Please join us for coffee, tea, muffins and fellowship tomorrow, Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jubilee Room. The Mission Crafts Group will demonstrate how to prepare and make milk bag mats for the "Mats for Haiti Project". The mats are used in homes and hospitals. Try your hand at cutting milk bags and/or learning how to crochet. No experience needed. Volunteers currently involved are invited to attend, as well as newcomers. 2. “Building on the Rock” scripture this Sunday – Revelation 15-20
During this year, we invite the congregation to read and meditate on scripture and to “Build” on the teachings of our Lord. Join us as we look at the book of Revelation together.
3. Christmas for Women – On Saturday, November 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. all women are invited to a Christmas event entitled “Merry Christmas from Our House to Your House”. As you mark the date on your calendar pray about women you may wish to invite as your guests, and sign up on the list in the narthex.
4. Soupwich – Everyone is invited to Soupwich being held in Campbell Hall after the second service next Sunday, November 25. Please bring enough sandwiches for you and your family PLUS one extra for a guest. Please bring your uncut sandwiches to the kitchen before the service so we can cut them and arrange them on plates for serving.
5. Family Fellowship – will meet on Sunday, November 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Campbell Hall. All families with young children are invited for a potluck dinner and fellowship. For further information please contact Geoff Colman at 613-722-5630 or rtoppscolman@gmail.com.
6. Finance Update – The finance team reminds the congregation of the operating budget commitment of $590,931 at the annual general meeting on Monday, February 27, 2012. Remember a large portion of our expenses come in the last two months – as outreach and mission programs focus on the busy advent season. We remind the congregation of the bank covenant (income exceed expenses) regarding the school property in effect this year.

8. RATANAK 3rd Annual Bake Sale – held at Salem Storehouse (1558 Merivale Road) on Saturday, December 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Contributions of baked goods should be clearly labelled as: contains nut, nut-free, or gluten-free. Please drop off your baking at St. Paul’s on November 29 or 30 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. or at Salem Storehouse after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1. 9. Preparing for Urbana 2012 – Urbana is a huge missions conference for students organized by Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF). This year Urbana will be held in St. Louis, Missouri from December 27 to 31. St. Paul's is sending six students: Amanda Watson, David Hill, Heather Shugart, Nana Boame, Patrick Smith and Victoria Mabie. Please remember these students in prayer as they prepare for a great experience.
10. The Search for a Children's Pastor – We have already received some applications for this position. The deadline is Friday, November 30. If you know of any potential candidates, please encourage them to apply. We also ask that you continue to pray for God's guidance during this process.
