1. Prayer Fellowship meeting tomorrow – Saturday, April 20, 8:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us as we pray for our church and those who need special prayer.

3. A Final Sermon Series – This Sunday, Jack will continue his final series of sermons appropriately titled “The Last Word.” In seven studies we’ll examine Paul’s 2nd letter to Timothy, his farewell message to his young protégé, and consider lessons to be learned and applied.
4. Seniors’ Luncheon – Join us for good food and warm fellowship on Wednesday, April 24 at noon in Campbell Hall. Please sign the sheet on the table in the narthex so we can determine quantities of food. A freewill offering will be taken to help cover expenses. The guest speaker will be Lynne Rochette, who will talk about a breakfast program that has been established in Africa to help children who have been affected by the AIDS epidemic.
5. Soupwich on Sunday, April 28 – Everyone is invited to Soupwich in Campbell Hall after the second service. Please bring enough sandwiches for you and your family PLUS one extra for a guest. Bring your uncut sandwiches to the kitchen before the services so we can cut and arrange them on plates. Soup will be provided.
6. St. Paul’s Clean-Up Day – Saturday, May 4 (8:00 a.m. to noon). Volunteers are desperately needed to complete some necessary tasks around the church. Please consider helping your church! Work will be done mostly outside. No experience necessary! Please bring some work gloves and a rake, if you can. Snacks and a delicious lunch will be provided. Join us and help prepare the church property for spring while you share warm fellowship and good food.
7. Freud’s Last Session – St. Paul’s will be the venue for 9th Hour Theatre Company’s latest intriguing production, “Freud’s Last Session” from May 3 to 5. Check out details on the bulletin board and in next week’s bulletin insert. Mark your calendars now and invite family and friends to join you. Tickets will cost $10 each.
8. Overseas Mission Fellowship – All are welcome to attend OMF International's annual Heart for Asia conference on May 4th, 2013 at Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa from 1-6 p.m. including supper. There will be good speakers and good fellowship. There is also a special children's program with a mission's emphasis included. Brochures with more details are in the narthex.

10. An Interim Moderator – At its April meeting, the Presbytery of Ottawa appointed The Rev. Shaun Seaman of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Kanata, to be our Interim Moderator during the transition to a new Lead Pastor. Shaun will work with our staff, Session and other leaders to care for our congregation and seek the best candidate to meet our needs for the next chapter at St. Paul’s.
11. Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre – The Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre services has a women’s group in Bayshore (mostly immigrants and refugees) who are learning to sew. They have a great need for fabric. If anyone could provide some, please call Frances in the church office.
