1.    “Building on the Rock” scripture this Sunday–John 8:12-20, 31-38

This Sunday, we welcome Ian Shugart as our speaker.


2.    Saturday Morning Prayer Fellowship – Everyone is invited to our next Prayer Fellowship meeting on Saturday, July 14 at 8:00 a.m. in the Resource Centre. Please join us as we pray for our church, our community, our world, missions and those in the congregation who need special prayer. We will meet again on August 11.


3.    Sonrise National Park Summer Camp:

Where: St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church

When:July 16-20, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to noon

Who: All children entering Jr. Kindergarten to Grade 6

What: Music, Crafts, Games, Bible Stories, Snacks, Fun!

How Much:Free – but pre-registration is required!

Application forms may be found on St. Paul’s website and in the narthex. Only a dozen spots are available and they are filling up quickly, so register today!


We need your help – please check the displays in the narthex and see how you can help. we need the following for our summer camp:

·      More volunteers especially group leaders

·      Food donations for the snacks especially sandwiches

·      Art supplies for crafts

·      Artificial Christmas trees and camping gear for decoration

You will also find a list of supplies that are needed in the attachment. Thank you for your help!


4.    Summer Refreshment Help – Volunteers are needed to sign up to serve refreshments each Sunday this summer. Juice and disposable cups will be supplied.  If anyone would like to supply cookies, they may also sign up.  The sign up sheet is in the narthex.


5.    Update on Jill Meldrum – It is with sadness that we share with you that Jill Meldrum, Joanne Barnabe’s sister, passed away last week. Many of you have been asked to pray for Jill recently in the St Paul’s Prayer Chain. Joanne and her family would like to thank St Paul’s for all your prayers.
