1. Prayer Fellowship – Our next Prayer Fellowship meeting is tomorrow, Saturday, January 19 at 8:00 a.m. in the Resource Room. Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for personal concerns, members of the congregation and community, as well as national and global issues.
 
2. Renewal Fellowship Meeting – Our next Renewal Fellowship meetings is being held in the Fireside Room tomorrow, Saturday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is welcome!
 
3. St. Paul's International Potluck Supper – Tomorrow, January 19, 5:30 p.m. Bring your favourite food to share and an artifact from where you come from or a country you have spent time in. These will be displayed for a guessing game of education and fun where you identify the country of origin and the purpose of the artifact. Share an anecdote, a vignette, a chant, a song, a dance. Give us a snapshot of what is was like growing up in a certain time or country. Do this by yourself or with others. Be brave…dress up to show us your country/province/state.
 
4. Scripture for this Sunday – Luke 2: 41-52
This Sunday Jack continues a new series of sermons from Luke’s Gospel in which we consider some of the critical moments and major turning points in the life and ministry of Jesus, reflecting on what they meant to Him and how they impact us. These are the “Milestones” that shaped Jesus’ mission and our own.
 
5. Seniors’ Luncheon – Join us for good food and warm fellowship on Wednesday, January 23 at noon in Campbell Hall. Please sign the sheet on the table at the entrance to the Resource Room so we can determine quantities of food. A free-will offering will be taken to help cover expenses.  The guest speaker will be Dr. Sholto Cole who will present “Revisiting British Columbia”.
 
6. Next Soupwich – Everyone is invited to Soupwich being held in Campbell Hall after the second service on Sunday, January 27. Please bring enough sandwiches for you and your family PLUS one extra for a guest. Bring your uncut sandwiches to the kitchen before the service so we can cut and arrange them on plates.
 
7. Inter-Varsity Pioneer Women invite you to a seminar called “Touching the Heart of God”, which focuses on how prayer and praise touch God’s heart, at Gloucester Presbyterian church on Saturday January 26 from 9:15 am to 2:15 pm.  For further details see the blue notice on the board in the narthex or call Elizabeth Cole 613-721-3367 or at elizac@magma.ca to arrange a car-pool.  The day including lunch costs $20.

 
8. Birthday Wishes and Prayer for Vera – Congratulations to Vera Barnes who will celebrate her 99th birthday this Tuesday! As we thank God for her long, faithful, fruitful life, let us pray for her as she remains in the Queensway Carleton Hospital under observation after a recent fall.
