1.    Prayer Fellowship Meeting – Our next Prayer Fellowship meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, May 25 at 8:00 a.m. in the Resource Room.  Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for personal concerns, members of the congregation and community, as well as national and global issues.

3.   Single Service – this Sunday, May 26 will be Jack’s final day in the pulpit at St. Paul’s after a ministry spanning more than 14 years.  The Session would like to have the whole church family together for that significant day, so have decided to hold a single service to which all are invited at the usual time of 10:30 a.m. As his “last official act” he will baptize his grandson, David Rhys Archibald, the son of Andrew and Maggie, and Fia’s little brother.
 
4.   Family Fellowship Meeting – The Family Fellowship Group will meet at the church on Sunday, May 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. All families with young children are invited for a potluck dinner and fellowship. 5.   You’re Invited – A farewell party will be held for Marian and Jack Archibald at St. Paul's on Saturday, June 1, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Please join us for dessert and fellowship in Campbell Hall, followed by a program in the sanctuary. Please do not forget to sign up to make a pie for the reception. The sign-up sheet is posted on a board in the narthex.
 
6.   Book Circle – Everyone is invited to attend our Book Circle in the Fireside Room from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10. We will be discussing a book titled I Dared to Call Him Father: The Miraculous Story of a Muslim Woman’s Encounter with God.  In the crossroads of her life, author Bilquis Sheikh asked herself: How do I give myself to God completely and what happens when I do? Poignant, powerful and simply told, it is a classic in Muslim evangelism. Please join us for a fascinating discussion about this book and its implications.
 
7.   Recordings of Jack’s Final Series – a CD package of all seven sermons from Jack’s final series, “The Last Word” will be available. If you are interested in this series, for which there would be no charge, please sign the list by the Resource Centre.
 
8.   Thriving Family Magazine – the next issue from “Focus on the Family is here. This issue is a good one with articles about changing your spouse and how birth order affects parenting. There is also a map for summer fun for the children. You can pick up a free copy in the narthex.
 
9.   Carrie’s Book and Mission Trip – Carrie Marston has published her first book, titled Catch Me If You Can, for teenaged girls. A copy has been donated to the church library. She would love to talk to you about the experience of writing her book and has copies for sale as well. Carrie is also going on a short mission trip to Peru this summer. 10.  Welcome to the World – Ezekiel Hudson Sauvé, son of Jeremy (St. Paul’s Youth Pastor) and Amanda, was born on Thursday, May 16. Let us continue to pray for the Sauvé family as they take time to rest and welcome the newest member to their family.
