1. Prayer Fellowship Meeting – Our final Prayer Fellowship meeting for this year will be held in the Resource Centre at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21. Please join us as we pray for personal concerns, members of our congregation and community, as well as national and global issues.

  1. This Sunday – Ian will be preaching from Matthew 2: 1-18.

 

  1. Christmas Eve Services at St. Paul’s – We will have a Family Service at 4:00 p.m. titled “A Christmas Prayer”. Our Candle Light Service will be at 7:00 p.m. with the message “Let Christmas Shine”. Child care for children up to age three will be available in the Nursery for both services.

 

  1. Single Services during the Holidays – for Sun. Dec. 29 and Sun. Jan. 5, we will have single services at 10:30am. Tina Arthur will share her testimony with us on Dec. 29. On Jan. 5, Rev. Terri Mazik will be our guest speaker. Rev. Mazik is a representative from First Place Options, a Christian support centre for unplanned pregnancies. 

 

  1. Ratanak Meeting in January – The next Ratanak prayer meeting will be January 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

 

  1. Thinking Ahead to 2014 – The deadline for Team reports for the 2013 Annual Report is WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15. If you submit your report electronically please use a plain font with no “fancy” formatting. It would be helpful if you could submit some photos to illustrate your report. If you have any questions, please contact Frances Cartwright in the church office.

 

  1. Thriving Family Magazine – The Christmas issue of the family magazine from Focus on the Family is now available. You'll find helpful daily activities for your family leading up to Christmas. You can also get "Thriving Family" delivered to your home for free. Please take a copy to find out more.

 

  1. Finance Update – The Finance Team would like to provide an update as of last Sunday, for the prayerful consideration of the congregation:

We are thankful that approximately $12,000 of the amount needed will be provided by monthly PAR contributions.  The remaining amount is approximately $15,000 for each of the remaining two Sundays of December! The congregation is reminded that contributions for inclusion in the 2013 charitable donation receipts must be received by December 31. Please provide address updates by this date.
