- St. Paul’s International Dinner – tomorrow, Sat. Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. is your chance to eat delectable cuisine from around the world together with other travel enthusiasts. Wear your favourite sari, kimono, kabba or habesha qemis. Bring some delicious food from another country. Each family/person is asked to bring a photo of a destination to see if others can guess its location. Share a story at your table about something funny, disastrous or unusual that happened to you in another country. Join us and have a good time.

Cost: Donation to Support the Sunday School Mission Project. - Best Wishes Dear Friends – This Sunday is the last Sunday that long-time members, John and Ann Bieler, will be worshipping at St. Paul’s. They have made the difficult decision to move to Whitby to be much closer to their children. Their new address will be: 206-3975 Anderson Street, Whitby, ON L1R 2Y8. John and Ann have contributed greatly to the ministries at St. Paul's over the years. We thank the Lord for their fellowship and we trust in His plan and care for them as they turn a new chapter in their lives.
- St. Paul’s Book Circle – Our next meeting will be held on Monday February 10 at 7:00 p.m. We will be looking at the life of Martin Luther, the man who has undoubtedly had the greatest influence on the Protestant church we know today. - Prayer Fellowship Meeting – Our next meeting will be held in the Resource Centre on Saturday, February 15, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us as we pray for personal concerns, members of the congregation and community, as well as national and global issues.
- Don’t Forget Your Tax Receipts – your tax receipts are in the narthex. They will be available for pick up only until Sunday February 23.
- The OMF Prayer Group – Our next meeting will be on March 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Everyone is welcome to attend.
- Thriving Family Magazine – The next issue of Thriving Family Magazine, published by Focus on the Family, has arrived. Pick up your free copy in the narthex. This publication has good articles on the topics of marriage and parenting.
- Mission Crafts Update – A total of thirteen adult-sized milk mats have been completed for our Haiti project. That's the equivalent of approximately 7,800 outer milk bags! Many thanks to all who contribute their time and efforts to make this project successful. We could not do it without you! Our mats are collected by the Christ Risen Lutheran Church in Kanata and they'll be sending a shipment in March. If you're interested in learning how to crochet a milk mat, we will be holding a workshop in the spring. Watch for details in upcoming bulletins or contact the church office.
- A New Arrival – Allan Grunder’s daughter, Laura, gave birth to Harry Bruce Mackie on Monday, February 3. Laura, Dad Andrew and Harry are doing well. Also, Grandpa is adjusting to his new title, and is very thankful for this wonderful blessing. Congratulations from your St. Paul’s family!
- Sad News – We were saddened by the sudden passing of Donald McGillivray last Thursday, January 30. Don and his wife Peggy have frequently attended St. Paul's in the last few years. Don will be sadly missed by us all.
