Life issues will be discussed and lots of snacks served. Registration is free. For those interested, please email or call the church office.

5.   Prayer Fellowship Meeting – Our next Prayer Fellowship meeting isSaturday, July 20 at 8:00 a.m. in the Resource Room.  Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for personal concerns, members of the congregation and community, as well as national and global issues.

6.   New Online Video Library – Our church is always looking for ways to serve you as you live out your faith throughout the week.  To provide all of us greater access to resources, our church has recently purchased a new online video library called Right Now Media. We are inviting you to have a free account to this exciting new video library. You can watch a 2 minute video at www.rightnowmedia.org/launchplan. If you have not received an email invitation to this library, please email Phil atphil@stpaulspcottawa.com to receive your invitation and instructions for your login.

7.   Finance Update – The Finance Team reports the financial position for the year to date ending June 30, 2013:

Giving Goal January through June $295,334
Amount Given to End of June            287,054
Total Expenses                                         309,603

Our contributions are a small amount behind the same period last year, and we are behind in donations according to the “giving goal” trend approach. Total expenses are a bit higher than usual, but will be reduced slightly later in the year as the congregation will no longer support the senior pastor salary.
We continue to encourage prayerful contributions to your congregation’s mission work.  The congregation’s “pre-authorized remittance” (PAR) program is an excellent method of managing your contributions while on holidays. Mark Ranson.
