1. Scripture for this Sunday – Luke 19: 28-38

2. More of Christ. Less of Me. – As we draw near to the central event of the Christian Faith during Holy Week, we invite you to prepare for the profound significance of Easter Weekend. You will find in the bulletin this Sunday an insert with prayers for every day of Holy Week.
We also invite you to identify with the sufferings of Christ through the practice of fasting. Let’s take part in a congregational fast by abstaining from a meal on Good Friday. We suggest the lunch hour as the time to fast and reflect on the sacrifice of Christ.  Through prayers and fasting, let us focus MORE ON CHRIST and LESS ON US.

3. Holy Week Schedule at St Paul's:

  • Easter Sunday – We will continue with our 2 services. The Contemporary Service at 9am and the Traditional Service at 10:30am will be filled with music of praise and celebration, and a message that joyfully delivers the good news that "Christ is risen!".

6. Prayer Fellowship Meeting – Our next Prayer Fellowship meeting will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 8:00 a.m. in the Resource Centre. Please join us as we pray for our church, our community, our world, missions and those in the congregation who need special prayer.

7. Next Book Circle Meeting – Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room.  We'll be learning about Charles H. Spurgeon, a 19th-century builder of churches and minister in South London during the Victorian era.  Despite his frequent absences from the pulpit due to ill health and personal "borders of despair", he was preferred over all others and considered to be the "Prince of Preachers". Join us and be inspired by this hero of the faith!  You are encouraged to read any book written by him or a biography.  The Resource Room staff are happy to assist you with suggestions of titles.

8. Summer Camp 2013, “Sonsurf” – JK to Grade 4 – Tentative Date: July 15 to 19. As usual, we need congregational support and enthusiasm for this program in order for it to run. If you can commit to helping for this week, please contact Evelyn Pike, Andrea Jones or Stuart Miles.
