6.   PHOTO UPDATES WILL CONTINUE – St. Paul’s Photo Directory is almost three years old now, so we need to update it. We will be taking photos in the Senior Minister’s office this Sunday. However, if you’d like us to update it, please drop by today when you can book an appointment (or possibly have it retaken on that day). If necessary, we will continue to book appointments for the next few Sundays. Memory sticks of all of your photos taken will be available for $5.00. The new Photo Directory will cost $5.00. If you are new to St. Paul’s, we strongly encourage you to come and get your photo taken as this is a great way to get to know everyone. 19.THANK YOU TO OUR ST. PAUL’S FAMILY – Words can hardly express the depth of my gratitude and appreciation to all of you for the prayers and support you have given both Ernie and me during the three years of his illness, which ended with his peaceful death on October 10.  Thank you for your cards and words of sympathy and to all who made the Visitation and Service such a comfort to me, especially to Rev. Kim and to Eleanor and Robert Hastings for the luncheon.  Evonne Isaak
Donations to St. Paul's in memory of Ernie can be made by using the envelopes in the Narthex provided for that purpose and may be left in the church office.

20.SEARCH TEAM UPDATE – The Team trusts you read the article in the Thanksgiving edition of Focus which outlined the results of the Congregational Questionnaire.  The Congregational Profile which was prepared based on your responses to that questionnaire, has been completed, sent to the PCC church office and is available to any individual who is interested in the senior Minister position at St. Paul's. Members of the congregation provided the Search Team with the names of ten individuals who congregants thought would be good candidates. Working through our Interim Moderator, all ten have been contacted to determine their interest in the vacancy at St. Paul's. A vacancy notice is on the PCC web-site and will appear in the next edition of the Presbyterian Record. The Team has also placed advertisements on three Christian ministry job search websites which are common sites for Ministers to review. As well, a vacancy notice has been posted on the St. Paul's website. Please continue to pray for St. Paul's, the work of the Search Team and the candidate God is calling.
Should you have any questions about the search process please either send an e-mail to
pastorsearch@stpaulspcottawa.com or contact any member of the Search Team: Muriel Barrington,  Nana Boame, Ann Burgess, Jeff Cavill,  Geoff Colman, Dan Seekings, Ian Shugart, Alison Wheatley-Price and Interim Moderator Shaun Seaman.
