The South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS) is an evangelical postgraduate seminary in Bangalore, India. We offer leadership training through Masters and Doctoral degrees to train key leaders for South Asia’s church.

Our calling right now is to form leaders for the South Asian evangelical church helping them become more truly Christ followers and more truly South Asian. That’s a challenge! It is a complex region with many different ethnicities, religions and politics. New initiatives at the moment include a Centre for Islamic Studies (which has a Canadian Director!), a research project on Christward movements and measures to improve our financial self-sustainability. Pray with us that the students learning, whether in the classroom, library or field ministry, will be transformative.

SAIACS began with the conviction that the churches in India needed a reputable mission-focused centre of higher theological learning to equip people to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. Its distinctives are the pursuit of excellence in God's service, an evangelical ethos and the training of Christian leaders at postgraduate level.
